I've got hold of my other sister who live in Kyoto last week. According to her husband, the radiation wouldn't reach there because of the all those high mountains.  but still, I am worried.

I couldn't hack the those feeling without doing nothing so I start knitting pair of socks each to my sisters.

 Stay Safe Socks.

No, I haven't got any super natural power, but my thoughts is strong enough, I guess.

I've finished knitting one of socks last night. I blocked it so  can post it tomorrow but before that, I just checked if it fit alright.

My other sister said she would like to have Pink one. but I couldn't find good pink sock yarn . I wonder she'll be alright with this colour. I better ask before I start her one.

Thanks, The comment one above yours is reply from my sister. ( younger one in Tokyo) She requested Pink color way but she says she likes this colour too. I've sent finished one this morning to my elder sister so I'm casting on second one for her now!

...I quite like the colour myself, I might knit one for me too. ( yes, I AM a selfish knitter after all.)

BTW, sorry I didn't leave the comment but saw the bit of Totoro coming up. Its lovely!

  4. Thank you! I'm excited about the Totoro mitts too! I haven't worked on them for a bit because it's been a crazy week or two. But I'll get there!

I've been trying to read as much of the Japanese on your blog to improve my own, but I don't know many kanji at all, so a LOT of it doesn't quite make it into my head. lol

I'd love to knit one of those mitt too. Please let me know when you finished it.

Re: Japanese writing...... my language skill isn't very good even with my own. I am writing in both but accuracy of transaction is quite lame. If you find some part doesn't make any sense, its not YOU but Me.
Kanji...I haven't done much hand writing lately so if I haven't got this clever automatic kanji suggestions ( PC program )as I type, I most probably won't be able to use these amount of them, lolol.
